Try Rotten Auk for Dinner!

A special traditional delicacy on North-Western Greenland is little auk. Place it in a sealskin to rot for 6 months or so. In this process, megan gas is produced, the pressure inside of the enclosed sealskin do the job. I was happy to be presented for this in Qaanaaq today, and to be hones, I have no intention of eating it, just from the smell. – It taste like grouse, says Hans. Torgeir S. Higraff
